7th Blogging Anniversary

Where has the time gone? I realise this phrase is a little overused but I honestly can't believe how fast time has flown.
While I was working on getting back to blogging, I spent quite a bit of time contemplating what I wanted for this blog. Over the years, I have slowly let go of my passion for fashion starting by reducing the number of fashion related posts that I upload here. This situation left a hole in my heart that I haven't been able to fill. So after all that soul-searching I decided it was time to give myself that final push to see if I could rekindle my love for fashion.
Let's be honest. When you dress up you feel amazing, you feel like you can conquer the world and I missed that feeling. Working from home meant that I didn't have to interact with the outside world too much and I used this excuse to slacken in my dressing. I spent my days, Monday to Saturday in jeggings and a tee and while I am extremely in love not to mention comfortable with my casual dress-code, I realised that it made me lazy.

As a way of giving myself that much needed boost to be more thoughtful about my outfits and to revive my passion for fashion, I have been looking for inspiration everywhere, my favourite source of inspiration being Pinterest. My outfit choices may still be more casual, hello dresses worn with sneakers, but I am trying to be smart about it. As such, I will start a 'What I wore this week' post here on the blog which I'll put up every Friday. I hope this post will not only push me to be more thoughtful about my outfits but will also help rekindle my love for fashion and also give you outfit ideas. That makes three days when you should expect new blog posts i.e. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
I would like to thank everyone who has supported me through this journey, those who kept asking me why I don't blog anymore and everyone else. Seven years is a long time and I don't take it for granted that we've been together for that length of time.

Thank you for stopping by.
