Inches 2 Style

A blog on fashion, motherhood and personal development.

Hello lovelies! So this was my first attempt at putting an Virgin Indian Remy Hair weave and my third attempt at putting a weave. I was given this weave as a gift and couldn't wait to try it. I have never been a fun of weaves. I'm always afraid of feeling too hot or being that lady on the street with an old, uncombed weave that lacks luster. But I have started to realize that life can get quite boring if you are afraid to try out new things. So I took this opportunity to try out a real human hair weave.
My experience with this Virgin Indian Remy Human Hair weave was good. I had asked a good friend what her experience was and her words made me even more curious. It was a nice change from braids and lines. I was quite taken with the texture and volume of the hair. I found the hair to be quite long and it took a bit of getting used to. With Elly getting more and more adventurous every day, I ended up tying it into a ponytail more often than I had wanted because she would get her fingers entwined with the hair and we would have a tag of war to free them. I didn't feel too hot mostly because the weather has been quite cool. I have discovered that when I put a weave in the cooler months, it keeps me warm and I reduce chances of any discomfort.
One of the best things about human hair is that it looks real! A friend even asked me what I had done to my hair (that was before I explained that it was a weave). It can also be washed and reused a good number of times. The next time I put it I want to try and get it styled after all, I've always wanted to try curly hair!

Have you tried human hair weaves? If yes, what was your experience? If no, would you try it? Do share in the comments below, on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Happy Thursday and thank you for stopping by!
