WHAT I WORE: FLORAL DRESS AND TURQUOISE FLATS

Floral dress: Gikomba; Sandals: Bus Station: Bag: Masai Market; Belt: Gikomba; Skull Necklace: CBD
Hi all!!
I have become a huge fan of floral anything thanks to my friend Maureen. I bought this dress because of her and once I tried it on, I ended up falling in love with it. It has tiny purple flowers and a little bit of green from their leaves. I like small interesting details on clothes and this dress is no exception what with the eye-let button hole at the back and the elastic around the waist.
I wore this dress to work on Tuesday. We had a blackout at home so I had to go to my uncle's house to work. The joys of working from home, sigh. Thanks KPLC!! With the weather warming up, I'm getting more and more excited to wear more dresses and sandals and try new things.

One mistake I made was washing and wringing this DRY CLEAN ONLY dress. It shrunk and I was so sad!! But I am still insisting on wearing it. I have since learnt that with clothes labeled dry clean only you should drip dry instead of wringing them, then they have minimal shrinkage.
This is the third time I'm wearing this dress. Each time I wear it I try to pair it with different color accessories and sweater. This time my colors of choice were gold and turquoise. Did I mention I bought a necklace with a skull that I absolutely love!! Makes me feel so grunge!

Have you entered my GIVEAWAY yet??

Happy Thursday!!!
