Inches 2 Style

A blog on fashion, motherhood and personal development.

Hi all!
Today I start a new job and I am sooo excited. I worked in my previous one for 6 months and although I had a fantastic time and had the best workmates, I was ready for a change.
My new office doesn't have much of  a dress code but since I am still on "probation" I opt to be safe rather than sorry. Below I give you tips on what to wear when you are just starting a new job.
My number one rule is to keep things simple. Since I don't have to wear suits or worry about showing my toes, I can be free to play around with items from my wardrobe.

Nothing beats a well fitting pair of pants paired with simple heels and a pussy bow blouse.
I'd tuck in the blouse and use accessories to add colour. The beauty of this outfit is it's simplicity. I love how the blue accessories tie in the whole outfit and give it some colour without making it too much.

A monocromatic look is also a big plus because it generates a level of seriousness. I'd go for colours such as blacks, greys and whites.

A pair of trousers paired with boots can be easily transitioned from day to night.
