Inches 2 Style

A blog on fashion, motherhood and personal development.

Hi all!! Are you as excited as I am that it's nearly the weekend?
Lately I've been leaning towards wearing more skirts and dresses than trousers. This doesn't mean that I don't wear trousers, it's just that I'm beginning to prefer wearing more feminine pieces. I guess what with my not so new job and my changing lifestyle, my style choices are changing.
I wore this striped navy dress as a skirt and paired it with a cowl neck top and mustard-yellow sweater to the office yesterday. I'm becoming a pro at wearing dresses as skirts and vice-versa. I don't want to shop so much for clothes that I'll get tired of in no time so I try as much as I can to buy versatile clothes.
 Outfit Details:
Navy striped dress: Gikomba Market
Cowl-neck top: Gift
Mustard sweater: Chandigarh, India
Navy leather belt: Gikomba Market
Handbag + jewellery: gift
Wedges: Nairobi streets

This outfit was inspired by one of Jane's looks on Jane by Design. I'm currently obsessing over this movie and watch it every time I need style inspiration.
Jane by Design
And, continuing with my streak this week, I'm trying to style my hair differently everyday. This is my second day.

i2s Extras:
I just love the Obamas style. Mrs Obama and her daughters looked great while celebrating President Obama's victory yesterday. I can't wait to see more of Mrs Obama's great style.

Do you think Sasha and Malia will take after their mum's great style?

Happy Thursday
