DRESSED FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Hi all!!! I hope you’ve had a good start to the week.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I wanted to commemorate this month by wearing pink. On the other hand, I don’t need an excuse to wear pink.

This outfit brought a smile to my face because I managed to convince myself to wear a skirt that isn’t a maxi or a midi and that without stockings and boots. I have a phobia for short skirts more so because when I was studying for my diploma, you never knew how short was short for the fashion cops. So I took to wearing maxis and midis because I was 100% sure these would not be termed as too short.

I paid this pink floral skirt with a purple top which I tucked in. I wanted to wear my black wedges so I put on a wide black belt just to ensure that the belt didn’t look misplaced. My pink (what colour is this anyway??) handbag, pink headband and a statement necklace.

Outfit Details:
Skirt: from my sister
Top: India
Wedges:  Streets of Nairobi (Ksh. 200)
Handbag: gift
Headband: Ebrahim Supermarket, Moi Avenue, Nairobi
Necklace: Sarojini Market, India
Belt: Sarojini Market, India

Happy Tuesday!!!

  2. It's a pretty skirt. And I totally understand the length fear. I don't even both packing shorts and mini's when visiting Nai. It's too culturally odd and dangerous!
