ACCESSORIZE: 4 WAYS TO WEAR A SCARF

Scarves are an important part of a woman's wardrobe. I have a few but I borrow mum's prettier ones once in a while when I want to change up my look. Scarves can be worn in a variety of ways which can make your outfit and bring out another side of you.

Around your neck.
Scarves worn around your neck both functionally and as a decorative piece. I like to wear larger scarves when it's cold as the extra layers give me added warmth. When the weather is warmer, like now, I think the daintier ones would look marvelous and you wouldn't feel at all uncomfortable because unnecessary extra warmth.

My take:

Tied on your bag
When I noticed that I had carried the same bag the whole week, I thought of finding some way to make it a little different. So I looked for a scarf  and added it to my bag and voila!!! The scarf not only added some colour to my outfit but it also served to tie in the colours of my outfit.

My Take:

 As a headband
Whether your hair is looking good or you are in need of a trip to the hairdressers, a scarf can come in handy. There are many ways to tie a scarf on your head. Follow the link below the pic for more inspo!

My Take:

Around your waist:
Scarves can also be worn as a belt to hold up your trousers, skirts or shorts.

How else do you wear your scarves. Let me know in the comments. I'd love to know of new ways to wear them.

Happy Wednesday!!!
