Inches 2 Style

A blog on fashion, motherhood and personal development.

Hi guys!! I hope you've been well. I know I've been scarce, I'm sorry. I've been trying to get settled at work and relearn how to organize myself. I hope from now on I'll be back to making regular posts.
Point to note: On the 12th of this month I'll be celebrating one year since I started blogging!! I can hardly believe that it was a year ago when I decided to take the plunge and get into this scary but fun world of being a fashion and style blogger.
I wore this to church one Sunday when I was feeling completely out of it. I looked at all my dresses and couldn’t get any styling inspiration. I thus opted for the easiest items from my wardrobe that I could put together, i.e. my skinny jeans and white tunic shirt.

Outfit Details:
Skinny Jeans: Big C, New Delhi
Shirt: Sarojini Market, New Delhi
Heels: gift
Clutch and Necklace: gift from mum
Earrings: gift
Bangles: Sarojini Market, India

I’m one of those girls who goes loves herself some shirts so when I saw this one in the market, I couldn’t resist buying it. To make it a little more feminine I chose pink accessories: heels worn here, and a beaded necklace. Because the shirt has such a loose fit, I preferred dark wash skinny jeans to create a balance. I didn’t want to look too bulky.

Are you a fun of shirts? How would you style them?

Happy  Tuesday!!!

  1. I think your styling of this tunic is spot on. I love the pop of pink with the black and white and the fit on this is just perfect. You look great!

    1. Thank you Gracey. It's funny because I just threw the pieces together without much thought.

  2. I love the simplicity of this look. It's chic but does not feel like you spent hours putting the look together. I'm envious of your dark jeans..I cannot find black jeans that fit anywhere. Still holding on to some rugged 5 year old ones...Oh well!

    1. They're actually blue but often pass off like black. Just keep looking. You may bump into the perfect pair when you least expect it.
