Inches 2 Style

A blog on fashion, motherhood and personal development.

Hi all!!! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. Mine wasn't so bad although my little sister got sick and I got to nurse her. I didn't realize how much my mum does and sacrifices when I am unwell until I had to put off my plans in order to take care of my sister. It was both a terrifying and good learning experience. Terrifying because at some point she was crying and I felt so helpless because I didn't know what to do to ease her pain. But thanks to God we got her to relax and she got better.
I recently went through a sort of crisis. To begin with I’m tired of my current wardrobe. I know one way to sort it out would be to give out or sell the things.  But it takes me such a long time to buy anything.  Just the thought of emptying my whole wardrobe without replacements in sight is scary. So I’ve been scoring my favourite blogs looking for ideas on how to revamp my current wardrobe. Also not having a source of income has forced me to live on such a tight budget that the thought of shopping is one I cannot entertain.
On this particular day I tried on six different outfits before I chose to wear a maxi skirt worn here and here and a sheer top worn here. Because it was a tad cold, I layered the top with a sweater and long-sleeved t-shirt. I wore boots for warmth and carried a leather cross-body bag. I added black earrings and some bangles.

Outfit Details:
Maxi: gift
Sheer top: Sarojini Market, New Delhi, India
Boots: gift
Bag: from mum
Earrings and Bangles: gifts

I love wearing black and I’ve realized that the days when I don’t want to think too hard, I automatically go for all black ensembles. What about you? What how do you get out of a wardrobe rut?
