NEON PONCHO AND AWESOME READS THURSDAY

This neon green poncho is one of the things I’m proudest of buying. When buying winter clothes I usually go for darker colours more so because they retain heat keeping me warm and also because they don’t show dirt easily thus making them easier to wear for a long time without needing a wash. The green colour stands out so much that when I wear this poncho I always pair it with darker colours such as these black slacks. I added brown ballet flats and a white handbag for a day in class.

How do you wear neons? Would you pair two very bright colours together?

Outfit Details:
Slacks: India
Poncho: Chandigarh, India

 On to Awesome Reads Thursday:-

I love the colour-blocking trend but I still have trouble combining appropriate colours together. With the tips Sally of Already Pretty gives, I feel empowered to try out this trend with a new eye.

More on combining colours, Academichic gives a helpful blow-by blow on how to combine colours.

Jeannie of Comme Coco inspires you to love your body and see it as that which makes you who you are as it is and not wish to be a copy of photoshopped photos that are so common these days!

I love anything maxi be it a skirt or a dress and I can't stop admiring this maxi dress by Fiona.

Pursuing your dreams doesn't come at a low price. You must sacrifice your time and energy and always remain focused on why your doing what you love to do. Tabitha, a 2nd Year Law student reminds us of this.

I hope you're having a great week. I'm trying to plan a surprise birthday party for my mum. Wish me luck!!!

Happy Thursday!!
