Inches 2 Style

A blog on fashion, motherhood and personal development.

I don't know what happened in the atmosphere above Nairobi on Tuesday but it was so cold I couldn't believe it. I had a date with one of my friends followed by class and an afternoon of hard work so I had to drag myself out of the house without carrying my duvet with me. Oh how I wish I had!!
I felt like wearing black and white that day but I didn't want to go too overboard with the neutral colours so I added my pink trench coat, last worn here.

 Outfit Details:
Black trousers: Incense, India
Top: Sarojini Market, India
Coat: Sarojini Market, India
Belt: Sarojini Market, India
Scarf: Sarojini Market, India
Earrings and Ring: Connaught Place, India
Flats: Chandigarh, India

Are there days when you feel like wearing a certain colour and everything else looks so boring? I've been feeling a lot like that this past week. I had a trying Sunday night and Monday morning and I still feel like lying in a corner somewhere and crying all day!!! But life has to move on despite the challenges thrown our way. I just hope I'm able to pick myself up by next week so that I can do my work wholeheartedly and not mechanically like I have this week.

Today is my mum's birthday. I know it's Friday the 13th and we teased her mercilessly about it being a bad luck day and that we shouldn't celebrate but since we don't believe in all that, I think we'll get underway with out plans.

Happy Friday and Cheers to the weekend!!

  1. Your pink trench is a great way to add colour to a blak and white outfit :)
