MONDAY STYLIST: Tangerine

****In this weekly post I'll be styling different outfits depending on which occasion you could be having. I will also include any challenges that I am participating in. If you wish to have anything styled, please feel free to get in touch with me through the comments form below, email or on my Facebook page. Enjoy!!!
I had posted about how I would style a  leather skirt and leather jackets some of the things on my 2012 wishlist.

It's spring in north India now, more like it will be summer in a few days. The temperatures are rising at an alarmingly fast rate. For the first time in four months I spent the day without socks and a sweater, the water was pleasant to touch and the nights are cool and comfortable. I haven't felt like this since October and early November. Yay!!! One of this year's spring colours is tangerine. I've mentioned more than once that I'm not a vivid follower of trends but I do like to add one or two elements as the seasons change to update my wardrobe. I love tangerine (the colour and the fruit). It's just the right amount of brightness and won't blind people in the dazzling sunlight.

I have a light sweater in this colour but I don't have it with me. I left it at home when I came back to India and now I wish I hadn't. Here are a other few items I like in this colour.

Since this colour is quite striking, I'd wear it with muted colours preferably neutrals like black or beige and dark colours like chocolate brown and navy blue.

Would you wear tangerine?

Hope your week started on  a positive note:)
