MUSE: Wearing Leggings Revisited

I did a post on leggings some time ago and I thought I should redo it and style some leggings to make it easier to put into practise what I was trying to put across. This time I will post a few outfit ideas on how to wear leggings in the summer (or hot weather). After all pictures speak a thousand words.

After living in India for three and a half years, this was my go to summer outfit. The tunic, better known as a kurta, is made from cotton and is super comfortable in the summer. The fit is a little loose making it cooler to wear during the day. Indians are very big on accessories so if you want to channel a true Indian style, go big on the accessories. The tunic has quite a bit of work on it especially around the neckline so I chose a simple necklace which doesn't downplay the neckline. This outfit can be worn with gladiator sandals, ballet flats, wedges or thong sandals.

For a more dressed up look add heels, a blazer or tuxedo jacket and more flashy jewellery. You can also choose to wear leather leggings.

I hope you've had a great week and are gearing up for the weekend!!!
